Beating suspect nabbed

The incident where five men assaulted two people at the guard house of a condominium in Bukit Antarabangsa went viral over the social media, leading the police to an arrest of a suspect of the alleged fracas.
The two minutes and forty nine second video showed five men attacking two people near the condominium guard house last Saturday. The attackers; the car driver and four unknown men had initially ganged up on a man dressed in red before assailing the other man in brown shirt. The latter managed to escape his assailants.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed the arrest and urged those involved in beating the driver to come forward to the police. Though no reports were made, investigations will be conducted on a report made by a security guard.

"We cannot let such incidents occur, as though there is no law in the country and it is a free-for-all. I have asked Ampang police to track those involved in beating up the lorry driver and catch them," he added.
According to Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Hamzah Elias, the fight broke out due to a misunderstanding over a minor accident involving Mercedes-Benz parked at the rear of the lorry parked at the allotted space. The owner of the Merc belongs to a Datuk who is not involved in the fight.
