Water Supply Distruption in Klang Valley on Monday

Water supply to a total of 814 areas in the Klang Valley involving 3.89 million users will experience disruption on this coming Monday (December 19th).

National Water Services Commission (SPAN), Chief Executive Officer Datuk Mohd Ridhuan Ismail said the 16-hour TNB maintenance works from 8am to 12am at the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Main Entry Substation in Bukit Badong, Hulu Selangor.

"The maintenance works are carried out once in every three years to prevent any faulty or unplanned power trip at these water treatment plants."

"The water supply will return to normal in stages after the maintenance works have been completed," he said in a statement.

The areas affected by the water disruption are Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Langat, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Consumers are advised to store adequate supply to last during the period.
